CQ WW VHF Contest

1. The CQ World-Wide VHF Contest, held the third full weekend in July, offers unique, handsome 9" x 12" walnut plaques to the highest scoring stations in various categories. Plaques are offered on a sponsored basis, with the donor's name and call, or club engraved on the plaque.

2. Plaques are grouped into two geographic categories: USA and World [non-USA].

3. Suggested categories for plaque winners with competitive entries are as follows:

        Single-Op 6 Meters & Single-Op 2 Meters

           Continental

        Rover
           USA
           World

        Single-Op QRP
           USA
           World

        Hilltopper
           USA

4. Only one plaque per contest entry will be awarded. If an entry is the high score for more than one geographical area [example, top EU and World], the higher category is awarded [World] and no plaque is awarded for the lower category.

5. Specialty categories will be considered for sponsorship. Contact the Contest Director.

6. Donors who wish to sponsor plaques should first contact the Contest Director to avoid duplication. The cost of sponsorship -- which covers the plaque, artwork, engraving and mailing -- is $75.00 USD by check payable to: CQ VHF Contest Program. Mail to:
